Podcasts as Programming: Reaching Busy Parents on Their Time: Co-host and podcast founder, Jessi Bouchelle, will explain the way that the Patchogue-Medford Library is pioneering a truly innovative approach to parenting education by implementing a "podcasting as a programming" initiative. Launched in 2023, the "Adventures in Parenting" podcast is the first of its kind, designed to meet the growing demand for authoritative, Library vetted parenting workshops by substituting in-person/virtual static programming with convenient and on-demand access to the same information. Each episode features topic experts alongside librarian hosts who are also busy parents themselves, and offers an engaging conversation-style sharing of information. This unique format allows the library to deliver vital parenting topics in a format that resonates with today's busy families.

This professional development series was brought to you by a partnership between NCLA, SCLA and CLASC.

CEU credits will be received by your participation.
